One character is free. Cost is $5 per character or 20 for all 8 characters. $40 for the 8 characters plus the original KI game and alternate outfits.

Supposedly you wont have to pay more than $20 for season one, even if you buy two characters first $5 each, the rest will be $10 to top you off according to ken lobb, and the $20 gets you the first 8 characters with the last two coming later, and also story mode will come later, but its all in the $20 price.

EDIT: also one character is free, and they are thinking about changing them up according to time, so you can try different ones out before you buy, but im not sure how often that will happen...Also note that this stuff is constantly getting updated, so my info might be a lil old

I already watched the video Maximilian's video is about and it was cool but annoying as fukk because the Microsoft guys were acting like goofy little trolls the entire time, not unlike yourself.

I just finished watching it, and this has the "potential" to be the best fighting game ever made
They gonna give us future characters via a beta, and the entire community will help shape and balance the gameplay

In season 2/etc they'll add fatalities and no mercys

There has never been a fighting game that worked with the community like this, and the commitment they got to improving the game. Stuff that would traditionally be saved for a sequel. No, they like "Look, just toss us a dub and we'll upgrade that game to part 2 for you

Hopefully all games go that route. No need to rebuy games like Madden every year
