Mind you, this is in response to Killer Mike arguing in favor of credit unions, creating black businesses and ownership. Capitalism isn't going away anytime soon, if ever. The idea that black people should simply withdraw from the system makes no logical sense. Why shouldn't we be building businesses and credit, especially at a time when some of us (specifically black women) are graduating with degrees at higher levels than ever before. Now is the time for investment and community.

I'd also love to understand why what Killer Mike is preaching is problematic, but Noname pinning a tweet where she is selling her music on Spotify/Apple/etc is fine. If any involvement in capitalism (to the point credit unions, something I wasn't aware anyone opposed, is wrong) is bad, why are you selling your music instead of giving it away to your people.

yeah she kind of skated around that would you leave the country if you could question:francis:.
It will be very tough for the average black person to leave this country and be comfortable without a decent ammount of money.
Unless you completely deprogram yourself of wanting all the basic niceties that make us comfortable in america.
So I definitely understand the importance of money for a greater goal. But she is correct that black people should not be put under the spell of getting money in order to compete with or be equal to Europeans. And essentially that is what black capitalism is in this country,as preached to us by other blacks imo.

People that know words just want to talk at others shyt is nerve wracking. Using compound words does not turn your bum ass statement into a point.

Another thing, this broad started with him then called him argumentative:what:

College only teaches certain people how to put they head in they ass a foot n they mouth. shyt ain’t that deep.

Tell this passive aggressive aggressor to figure out wtf she tryna do and who she is before engaging strangers with no goal or purpose

How is being rhetorical your whole personality :martin:
