....instead of those dusty crunchy dungeon El-P beats:hhh: Killer Mike will be talking big shyt on these Run These Jewels albums, but then El-P comes through with beats sounding like Killa Priest and Tragedy Khadafi passed on them:martin:Feel like Killer Mike has had a lot of wasted lyrics due to that type of production, and I can never look at Run These Jewels the same ever since somebody called it "white people revolutionary music" :mjlol:

I actually like El-P production. R.A.P Music is the best thing Mike ever did. The problem I have with RTJ is El-P getting half of the verses. El-P is too much of a rambler for me and it throws their music off a bit. Mike is more of a conceptualist/precision rhymer, which is much more to my liking. Ideally we'd just get Killer Mike albums produced by El-P with an occasional verse.

Rap Music was dope. RTJ both production and with El-P rapping is :scust:I just don’t know how El-P can produce something as nice as Rap Music, then follow it up with 3 RTJ albums that sound like a gobbled mess

Mike loves EL-P's bars. only way this happens is if EL-P's puts his foot down and says he aint rapping. :manny: I'll take RTJ over a lot of shyt

I like RTJ era Killer Mike just fine but I agree I miss him on different types of beats. The run he was on between when he left Purple Ribbon/Outkast and when he linked up with El-P produced some incredible music

Pledge series
Ghetto extraordinary
The killer mixtape

All better than rap music.

Smiff n cash, mr dj, onp, no id, beat bullies >>> el-p

He's still the same rapper he always was, he just get more hipster love now.

Exactly. All the Pledge era stuff was so full of variety and simply hard. RTJ is just hipster Starbucks music.

Weird thing is I think the best production he ever got from El-P was on R.A.P. Music.

The RTJ shyt kinda jumped the shark though.
This. I'd gladly take another RAP Music but I'm good on another RTJ project
