Put it like this. My 12 year old son watched that Joyner Lucas video. He came to me immediately making fun of Joyner Lucas for the fried chicken and kool aid and 2 step bars. I didnt even have to say anything to him. Like he genuinely felt that was some stupid shyt to say and didn’t understand why Joyner Lucas framed the black argument that way. And he’s only 12. He immediately caught the ridiculousness of that verse. That should tell u somethin about that bullshyt song.
anyone who can think for themselves and isnt sharing that song for social media likes/attention knows how stupid that song is.

Thought the first verse was etherous and the second response was kind of a let down, I could tell he strongly relates to the first verse, and relates to the second, but perhaps only out of the necessity to be fair.

I couldn't believe that shyt
people are desperate for likes/attention:yeshrug:

same reason why you have people now sharing the viral video of that cac kid:yeshrug:

same reason why you had people cracking jokes on Big sean's recent album but did not hear 1 song off it:yeshrug:

people are stupid, desperate, and sheep ass followers that go with the crowd.

Decatur where its greater
I guess I missed what the intent behind this track was :dwillhuh:

I was thinking the verse from the white dude was supposed to look ridiculous and show how white people use their bullshyt to prove they aren't racist but clearly are.

But then again...the end wouldn't have ended like it did it that was the intent
...damn :snoop:

I think the song is for white folks, and that it
1.states how they feel
2.shows how they see us
3.shows us how they think we think
4.makes us give them the result they desire, with nothing changing in the end

the white verse is white folks speaking how they really think and the Black response was just what white folks expect us to say. Even them getting to go first shows the privilege they have. The white dude looks like he could have a blue collar job but the black guy would be termed as a thug by that same subjectivity.

You can verbalize the hatred white folks have for us, but I don't think anyone yet has found the proper words to describe the anger, hatred, and pure disdain black folks feel towards whites.

I thought the song showed the white dude as racist
The ending sucks when they hug
But the verses are cool
