Game 1 = Heat win if LeBron doesnt cramp up or if somebody doesnt cut off the damn AC :comeon:

Game 2 = Hard fought Heat win.


It looked like we were getting ready for a great series. At least as enjoyable as the finals the year before.:ehh:

Then Kawhi happened :sadcam:

Then the bench just overwhelmed them :lupe:

Then it seemed like the shooters couldnt miss :damn:



All the advanced stats say the Warriors should win this series. I mean they won 67 games, got the MVP, etc etc.

The Spurs already had championship experience though and you could tell they were playing pissed cause they lost last year.


There are two things working in the Cavs favor despite not being as good as Miami was last year.

LeBron played less mins/games this year. So he's got a bit more energy to do more and put up shots. Last year was kinda grueling.

More importantly. They dont play that chicken with its head cut off defense that Spo had them doing against shooters last year :heh:


Still....LeBron is depending on Delly and Tristan (averaging 2 points a game this series) to finish games..

The defense last night for both teams was on some :merchant: shyt

My money is on GS not shooting like that in too many more of these games though. And Curry is not going to go 3 for 15 from 3 or whatever he was again. The Cavs need to trust their sets a little more late in these games, still too much isolation.

pretty sure that french dude guarded james and james still got his.

for GSW to pull a spurs they would need to have a similar passing system..

right now they have a PnR system.. you think they will give it up to play how they never played?

No. The Spurs shot 60% or near their pretty much every game of that series except the Game 2 Miami won. They also move the ball FAR FAR FAR better than the Warriors, have championship experience, and were playing a team they were familiar with for the 2nd straight time. GSW has been shooting like chit thus far and contrary to what all the dikriders here will tell you, I don't anticipate things getting much better for them. They gotta go play 2 in the Q now and people refuse to admit but the Cavs truly are as good defensively as the stats suggest. Nor is there a "Kawhi" out there, although I'm tired of hearing that trash because LeBron shot like 58 percent in that series or something--Butler is the only truly great Bron defender.
