GOOD AND CHEAP PODCAST
HOUSTON -- At the Day for Night Festival Sunday night, a man pulled from the crowd stole the show.

"It was wild," said the man who calls himself "Corporate Dough." "It was incredible."

The 24-year-old Houston native had gone to the Kendrick Lamar concert with friends.

"I was up very close to the front, and about halfway through the show, Kendrick Lamar comes out and says he's going to bring some people up on the stage," he said. "And I was like, 'Let's go, Kendrick. I'm your guy. Let's do this.' The minute that Kendrick picked me and said, 'Let's go,' I knew that this was it. This is my moment."

On stage, he forgot the lyrics to Lamar's song, but it didn't seem to matter.

"And I was like, 'This is it. You've either got to go for it 100 percent, or this will never happen for you.' And so I knew what I had to do."

So he killed it, freestyling his way to a thunderous applause and a chance meeting with jas Prince, the manager for rap superstar Drake.

"And I was just like, 'Man, I know who you are. What's going on?'"

TMZ has called him the next Eminem. Corporate Dough, who has just quit his corporate job in finance, said he just wants to be himself.

"It's always been something I wanted to do, and until Sunday night, I didn't think I could do it," Corporate Dough said. "But now I feel like I can."

He plans to pursue his dream of rapping full time.
