I was always expecting for Boosie to do gold numbers..

His fanbase was saying "Free Boosie" for 4 years.

On a another note, we are in the Go Along to get Along era. Nikkas just want their bag by all means.
Your timeframe is off (understandably so), the album he dropped after doing his long bid for years was Touchdown 2 Cause Hell, it didn't do gold numbers but respectable numbers around the ballpark of like 300k or so total

When he got hemmed up by the feds this year it was only for a few weeks and he dropped something quick when he got out and THAT did 500 copies, but he had zero momentum unlike when he went to jail years ago

Boosie gotta stop goin live on IG and Vlad goin in on cats he has some type of personal/working relationship with.

I could see commenting on stuff publicly from ppl you don’t know but man… he can’t ever just be like “I ain’t really rockin with that, but I’ll call him and give him my opinion….. no comment, next question”???

Not that the collabs do much for him but he definitely needs the TI and Kodak collabs more than they need him :manny:

Boosie was locked up from 2009-2014...

You was right, thanks for the correction.

A issue with Boosie is that he needs to stop dropping multiple projects and give folks time to digest em.

Thats the first issue.

Second is the mixing and mastering.

Boosie is gonna jump out the window regardless...

He came up in a era where nikkas didnt cut corners or made excuses for folks that rat, let alone do songs with em. Would his former protege Pimp C do songs with Lil Troy after he put many folks behind bars?

This generations will let anything slide as along as the music is str8.

Back around 2007/2008, ratting wasnt even accepted like it is now.

Gunnatello gets on the stand and goes #1

Boosie is one of the most cringeworthy rappers I’ve ever seen bro lol.

“You ain’t street at all!”…negro stfu, 🤮, you 40 talking to a 20-something year old. Think about that. These are y’all heroes tho…and they’re the babies heroes, which is the problem.

Y’all gotta retire this street glorification shyt at some point man, no?? Nigs getting shot left and right, babies, all because of street glory and y’all still pumpin that? 40 year olds pumpin that? SMH, nigs demonic bro. “He ain’t got no morals and principles. I do tho…I threaten to kill women and their family members and allegedly pay little nigs to kill for me cause I ain’t built like that myself…but I don’t snitch or make music with snitches so I got principles and morals”

Oh, and 69 is ass and phony and a weirdo…that’s why nigs shouldn’t work with him, he’s corny as shyt on madd different levels lol

No one listen to Boosie music though.

These new cats have Finesse2tymes and Moneybagg Yo...

Boosie is a OG compared to them.

His new music is hit or miss though and that's why no ones bumping him. Boosie and his team should have meticulously built his buzz back when he first came home. He could have gained some new fans due to the Welcome Home Boosie.

I'll blame some of that Webbie...he should have kept Boosie's name relevant while he was locked up too. Bun B did that with Pimp C and they became hometown heroes.

Him and Trill Ent should have been making Free Boosie merch from 2010-2013. Those 3 years were more than enough.

The streets don’t control the rap game anymore. Streaming and YouTube changed that aspect of the game.

U had to be stamped in the streets, let alone your hood before you became a rapper....

Dues had to be paid. Now all u have to do is have a candy land beat and have some money and buy your respect.
