T.I is the ceremonial King Of The South but he hasn't had a hot album in a while. I remember way back in 2009 or 2010 when I thought B.O.B was a potential king of the south off the strength of Bobby Ray vs B.o.B mixtape

Even though, T.I. gave himself that title, this wasn't even a discussion until he started running around calling himself that. He had a great run and definitely lived up to that title for a period in time. Outside of Wayne, nobody else really had the kind of run that he had that would warrant such a title. Of course, Scarface, UGK, OutKast, Eightball & MJG, Luda and a few others were clearly better MC's, but you'd hardly find another solo Southern artist with the type of run T.I. and Wayne had. Especially since they had years where they were the biggest artists in rap period.
