Xehanort took terra body and made him strong thoXemnas and Ansem are just shadows of what full power Xehanort is, now that Ansem and Xemnas got bodied they most likely came back together in kh3
Xehanort prayed on the darkness in Terra's heart. Neither one of them could overtake the other. That's why Apprentice Xehanort has amnesia. Apprentice Xehanort is just a blank slate due to Both Terra and Xehanort not being able to over take one another.
Ansem SoD and Xemnas are the heartless and nobody of the COMBINED form of Terra and Xehanort. Ansem SoD and Xemnas has the powers of both Terra and Xehanort.
Old man Xehanort is just Xehanort. Who lost 1v1 to Terra. Terra is no where near as strong as Sora or Riku.
Nobodies are always stronger then their Somebodies. Roxas was stronger then Sora.(Which is why he beat Riku) Namine is stronger then Kairi etc.
The Sora/Roxas fight was internal(Before anyone brings that up)

But wasn't Xehanort not at full strength since he was old, hence him trying to go for a younger body on some Orochimaru shyt? with characters like that i always try to take what body they were using into account
and yea roxas was stronger than sora but lost the internal battle, terra aint win the internal battle with xehanort so can we really say he was stronger than him? xehanort body might have been weaker than terra's but once that was gone they cancelled each other out. Also can't act like terra was weak cuz he killed Eraqus who was a keyblade master, shyt the only reason Terra aint pass the mastery test was cuz he had darkness in him, not cuz he wasn't strong enough

if it wasn't for Peter Pan he woulda died in Kh1 cuz he woulda never learned to fly even further, without kairi he woulda been stuck in a shadow body at Hollow Bastion, he had a shyt ton of get outta jail free cards on deck throughout the series whereas Aqua/Ventus/Terra only had one shotDemyx fukked my life up in the game only because of the timer

Terra didn't win but neither did Xehanort. They were at a stand still which is why Apprentice Xehanort has no memories from either.(first part of this video)
While Nomura himself has never stated this to be fact. It's a common theory that the fanbase believes. Ansem's memories is based off of Xehanort's(which is why he was so hellbent on finding kingdom hearts in KH1)
And Xemnas memories is based off of Terra's(Holding on to Aqua's keyblade. Searching for the room of awakening to find Ven)
Many people think this will be officially confirmed in KH3.
Terra is weak compared to Sora and Riku. He's strong i guess compared to Ven but Ven is the weakest keyblade wielder of the entire series(unless u count Kairi). Both Sora and Riku has solo'd Ansem who is stronger then Old Man Xehanort.
Xehanort himself admits his body is too frail to continue this path in BBS which is why he needed Terra's body to begin with. Plus u have to remember. Ansem SoD is literally the only heartless that was able to keep it's body. That's testimony to how much darkness the fused heart of Terra and Xehanort had. And Sora and Riku solo'd him anyway.
Terra did beat Master Eraqus. All that means is Sora and Riku will beat him too. Im not taking any of Terra's feats away from him. Im just saying anything Terra can do Sora and Riku can also do and quite easily as well. Being keyblade master is just a title and gives u knowledge of things. It's not the factor of who is stronger then who. Mickey is a master. Aqua is a master. Yensid is a master. Eraqus is a master. None of them are stronger then Sora.
Xemnas is still the strongest being in Kingdom Hearts. This was proven once again in Dream Drop Distance. We know all members of the org in DDD were brought back via time travel and Young Xehanort. However the rules of time travel in the kingdom hearts world is that you can only travel forward in time from a base point that you already existed.
Meaning the Xemnas we see in DDD is a Pre KH2 ending Xemnas(before he's defeated)
It took Both Sora and Riku to defeat Xemnas in KH2. However in DDD Sora solo's Xemnas. At the end of the fight not only did he not defeat Xemnas but he was so tired that he just fell deeper into darkness which was Young Xehanort's plan all along(Of course Ven saves Sora at this point)
So 1v1 Sora vs Xemnas Xemnas not only is not defeated but he's able to take him on to the point where Sora is too tired to fight(Remember Sora in DDD is Post kh2 Sora. He's only KH1 sora in appearance. But his abilities and strength is all current post KH2 Sora)
I agree Sora had alot more help then the bbs trio. And if u want to say Terra is stronger then KH1 Sora then ok(which i still don't believe because Roxas is made from KH1 Sora's base and he beat Riku and Xion which again leads back to Xemnas being the strongest person in the KH universe. DiZ told Riku he has to stop Roxas because Roxas was on a suicide mission going to fight Xemnas for Xion. Xemnas would of killed Roxas which means Sora never would of woke up)
But KH2 Sora?? It's a landslide.

The GBA game came out before KH2 though
The entire series is now on PS3/PS4. That whole (I don't want to play handhelds) excuse is worthless now.
