Kirk Herbstreit: "I've never been more disrespected than I was at Baylor"

There's a "protect what's ours" mentality surrounding the Bears which, ironically, is what landed us here. On SportsCenter, Kirk Herbstreit spoke a bit about the "all for one" mantra of the team. The college football analyst says he spoke negatively about the team before his visit and was immediately called out by one of the coaches. That lead to "hooting and hollering" from the players that rallied around one another.



He also said in another interview that "Baylor had a 80's Miami type of mentality in that they had no respect for ppl outside the program and for opponents."



It goes without saying the rape stuff is just TERRIBLE, but from a purely football standpoint & nothing else, I love what Art Briles did there in terms of mentality. That sort of 'we're the bad guys' mentality is what turned that program around.

this is Baylor's Strength & Conditioning who called out Herbie.

Herbie got his feelings hurt. But I bet he didn't say nothing back. :whoa:
