I been hearing about Marcus Manchild but I haven't heard anything that dope from him.

I thought Travis Scott was a producer, I didn't even know he rapped.

marcus literally got ate on every song...nikkas would go directly to killa's verse..

killa stopped fukkin with amg..

then all of sudden... he durin interviews at the breakfast club...n other shyt...

They cool, but they have no national buzz. Kirko had over 40 million hits on his Drank In My Cup video ALONE. His keep it trill is being played throughout the country. This is what is wrong with Houston people, y'all always want people to blow up that have little to no national appeal and then wonder why its hard for us to blow up like an Atlanta. And I am referring to up and coming rappers, not the old heads in the Houston rap game.

I stayed in Texas for 10 years so I'm familiar with the music scene, and I just don't understand why nikkas hate on Kirko. That nikka make smooth ass Texas music but dudes still hate. BTW, Kyleon should have been blew up years ago

But I agree, Killa Kyleon is probably the best out of the young crop of cats in H-town even though he been around for a mintue. I remember he used to wreck Slim Thug's BHO tapes

I thought he was gonna get a buzz after his verse on Kush and OJ but I haven't heard hardly anything from dude...

They should have stayed independent...they would have been better off, especially as far as creative control. Now screwed and chopped music is being whored around so much people can't even notice it. From Swimming Pools to Suit & Tie. Good songs, from good artists but I'm sure you get where I am coming from.

I think Houston is going through a re-invention as far as image. It will be the younger guys that change.

First phase - Scarface, Geto Boys, 5th Ward Boyz, UGK
Second phase - SUC, Swishahouse, Boss Hogg, CCC, etc
Third phase - to be determined
