Minorities as a whole is lacking in the skilled trades and it's a fukking shame. I wish such information was given to me as a student. Mind you, most apprenticeship programs are 4-5 years & you get paid during your apprenticeship. That option is way better than Trade School if you take that route. By the time you hit 25, you would be making over 40 dollars a hour with benefits.
