Petty Vandross.. fukk Yall
Nobody’s slandering this dikkheads name
It’s clear many didn’t watch any warriors games the past two seasons
You could see his antics and you could also see how teammates were reacting to his bullshyt visibly on the court in real time
He’s one of the reasons why young cats on the team could never really get acclimated in most games
Sure Dray is/has been a headache but if you are an actual fan of The Warriors
You just talking out your ass at this point
The writing BEEN on the wall
Klay still thinks he is a difference maker like before both injuries
He is not that dude anymore
And he can’t face the reality
Dallas about to get abused because they literally have no perimeter defense at all
Don’t give two squirts of piss about Klay
He did this shyt to himself and that grass ain’t about to be as green as he think
Going out like Tony Parker

I'm assuming PG deliberately opted out after all those speculation reports because he didn't wanna get traded to the Warriors to play with Steph and Dray which at the time seemed likely.
Nah, reports are that Paul was down to GS but the Clippers turned down every offer, they didn't want to make a deal. So PG opted out when it was clear a S&T wasn't going to happen.
Theres something to be said about what it does for GS offense though that klay doesnt need to handle the ball, and takes on the toughest perimeter matchup.
That Klay is gone.

Yeah sounds like the Clippers didn't want to trade him inside the division

Yeah, Klay's lateral mobility is completely shot. He's gonna be 35 and tore his ACL and Achilles. It's not coming back.

Above the fray.
Question for guys who played organized ball. What happened to Klay?

Shooting touch and mechanics are supposed to be the LAST things to go. Even after athleticism fades away.

His old head coach stayed in the league, and piled on rings because of his shooting touch, and being a designated 3 point shooter for contenders.

Knew Klay wouldn't be the same defender after the injuries, but what happened to his lights out shooting touch?

100% mental/emotional. Everyone knows Klay can still shoot

And I bet teams know this so they threw so much money at hm

If he changes his mental approach he can easily snap back to being one or the best 3 point shooters in the league

Yep and he averaged 41% in the 2nd half of the season on 9 makes/per game (just saw this mentioned on ESPN) - Not too bad at all.

So it will be interesting to see how many he gets up with Dallas from all the drive/kicks from Kyrie and Luka

His mental is shot and he literally is in denial about so much and trying to prove shyt that it takes its toll on him and takes himself out the game. If Klay shot is off hes literally going to give you nothing on the court , he wont go after long rebounds he allows back cuts he just starts thinking to much.

Klay will either accept at this point that he is strictly a spot up shooter or the struggle will continue. He could potentially be 54/40/90 next season if he's satisfied waiting on kick outs from Kyrie and Luka. But if he still thinks he's that Klay who can get 37 in a quarter then reality will be even swifter for him then it has been.
