Stephanie said that “Divas” was once a good name for the WWE women’s division, comparing it to “divas of soul” Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston. She said backlash from social media led to the changes in the division. She said those changes included making female superstars more of a focal point. Triple H said that the women’s TV segments are often the highest-rated on almost a weekly basis.

Anyone who has been paying attention knows that women's wrestling has been a draw in the WWE.

Could be an even bigger draw if their matches are consistently booked well. The standard is much higher for women nowadays which is a good sign. Most recent women's match that I remember having me compelled was Asuka/Nikki Cross. Sasha/Alexa was very good aswell.

Think the main problem is booking and (to an extent) writing. They could possibly make the divisions bigger on both Raw and Smackdown, maybe add women's tag titles like TNA. But they have to make it matter IMO, and WWE at the moment seems to suck at making anything matter
