The Knicks will never win another NBA title, I mean never. This organization doesn't have ANY sense what so ever when it comes to Free Agency. The Knicks have the top 3 and soon to be top 4 after they sign Lin, as Worst Free Agent signing team.

2. Allan Houston to 6yr/100 Mil
3. Jerome James 5yr/30 Mil


Now, you guys are about to match the Rockets and give Lin 3yr/25 Mil. All of this has happened in the last 10-11 years. If the Knicks had someone with the brilliance of Mitch Kupchak or even RC Buford you've have a championship today.

I'm not even mad at the Lin signing for them because I think he's earned it by the value that he brought last season from a PR perspective and he'll probably be popular as fukk at least through half of next season. It's not the money, it's who you're paying the money to. I'm honestly tired of guaranteed contracts in The NBA. Too many players don't live up to them.

They wanted to sign a superstar and Amare was the only one at the time who really met the challenge. Remember his first season before Carmelo got there he put that team on his back, had people putting him in MVP talks.

why is Mitch Kupchak brilliant?
All of their good players were inherited from Jerry West or signed to play for the Lakers.
