We all know the history. Over the past 15 years no team has had a rougher run in the draft and young talent than the Knicks.

Going all the way back to 02 draft when they drafted Nene over Amare...then traded Nene right there on draft for Mcdyess (a much older version of Amare) who then proceeded to blow out his knee In a preseason game :picard:

We all know how they missed Curry who desperately wanted the Knicks and who the Knicks desperately wanted by a single pick...and had to settle for.... Jordan Hill instead.:wow:

That's very definition of rough....imagine how different things would have been with Curry electrifying the Garden. But still...they had Derozan on the table and passed

And we won't talk about all the picks they DIDNT have because they traded it away. Things were finally looking like the got a W in 2015 with Porzingis but now it looks like they might possibly suffer another soul crushing heartbreak with their 2017 draft.

Dennis Smith Jr looks like he can be an bonafide star, has all the attributes and explosiveness..and everyone knew this even in the moment of the draft only to watch the Knicks pass and select Frank Ntilikina. Who actually looks like he might be a nice player but I don't see the star qualities. I'm hoping I'm wrong because I'd hate to see anymore self mutilation by the Knicks if Smith becomes a superstar

But are Knicks fans happy with the Ntilikina pick? Is there potential for him to become a star? Or are you guys already kicking yourselves?

Philly. Fucc a Eagle. I mean dat.
If he isn’t, there’s even less of a reason for Porzingis to re-up.

And frankly he’s halfway out of NY as it is.
He ain’t half way out, that boy love it over there. All they gotta do is add some good pieces around that boy and it’s over. Too bad he gonna be getting shytted on by the young GOAT Joel for years to come, but other than that, that boy too good for them to fukk around. The streets out here saying NY back  :troll:

If Frank Nitty becomes a star then Porzingis doesn't consider leaving. If he's a bust...then all bets are off.

If DSG ends up becoming a star while Nitty does not then the damage goes beyond even Porzingis leaving
