...no endorsements, no album/mixtape out at the moment, no tv show deals, etc.... They just away from the limelight and are not "current" or "hot" right now.

How are these rappers eating and feeding their kids right now? I know they cant be living of "royalties", and the little savings they must have.

Examples: Foxy Brown, Keith Murray, Mr. Cheeks etc.

i've always wondered that about artists from across all genres. do they just chill all day? these nikkas got regular jobs? they recording shyt for the hell of it? ghostwriting/producing?

AZ is kinda there.... He is still around and you see him dropping freestyles and projects here and there. Not sure if he's making any money off them, but he is probably touring a little bit. But I wonder how people in this category are making a living today?

Only one we can can confirm is Amil from Rocafella was working at Macy's (the last time I heard). Not sure if she is still there but that's what the word has been for a long time lol.

most of these cats if you haven't heard from them they are out the game for good and working a day job. some cats got shelved and their names are tied up in contracts. some of them can't make a record at home alone so what can they do?

I can't speak for everyone, I'm sure some of them are struggling because they blew all the money on ig'nant sh*t, but the smart ones made investments, so even if they aren't visbile on the music scene they have different streams of revenue coming in and never have to put out another record or do another show in their lives if they don't want to.

I saw a recent interview with Timbaland talking about how Magoo (who someone has already mentioned in this thread) is financially straight due to his real estate investments, so hopefully some of the other artists did the same.
