2000-2001 Kobe had one of the most underrated Play-off runs of all-time.

People forget that year Kobe had the highest +/- in NBA postseason history, only outdone by Steph and Draymond in 2016-2017. So still at 3rd place even though the league's offenses are insane today.

Dude simply played two-way effective basketball on and off-ball that year.


Didn't overdribble. Didn't fish for iso's. Most of his shots were in-structure and disciplined.



Additionally, a lot of people don't give Kobe a lot of credit for having to pull out some wins because the other team was going to start cranking the Hack a Shaq.
