I have some quotes for you too :mjlit:

“Like, when you're 25, you shouldn't be trying to piggyback on other people”

“Well, you know, his legacy is going to take a hit.”

“Michael Jordan, you know, he never left Chicago. Kobe Bryant, you know, he bytched and complained a little bit about the Lakers. But he didn't bolt when he had a chance. He wanted to stay and win in L.A. Same thing with Michael Jordan and guys like that. So I admire that.”

Cheap. Rings. :mjlit:

Quotes from the guy who was playing for philly and went to see the the portland gm to beg to be traded there to team up with other good players :russ:

Its so funny that Barkley was the 1 you used to quote because hes the perfect example of the past era doing shyt but then telling us that In his era they wouldnt have done shyt like that.

Let him tell it they werent teaming up in his era. That same era where Mj couldnt wait to play with those pistons that was kicking his back in :umad:

Here's another quote for you from Chris Webber from the same video.

"What does this do to the legacy of, in your opinion as a former player. Or to the fans of a guy like LeBron. Who says, I want to win, but I'm going to the best players. I mean, how really do you look at that? Seeing him go over there with players that are just as good. Or some of the best players in the league."

C-Webb reacted in real time questioning LeBron on his move to Miami to go play with a player who was just as good as Lebron :mjlol:

No matter how much you dudes try to erase and rewrite history that move Lebron made was cheap . You can't compare hard earned rings won the right way to stacking the deck.

Chuck said winning a ring in Cleveland means more than in Miami. Bron won in Cleveland. Chuck also said if you give Bron Gasol and Bynum he wouldve been won a championship. Here's something else Chuck said thats funny nobody cared about Kobe being Shaqs assistant for those 3 rings they didnt care until Kobe won while being the number #1. And just for clarification Chuck was 25 in about his 3rd season in the nba by the time lebron was 25 it was his almost 7th season and LeBron was the guy for every ring he won. :umad:

All you said about Chuck was true but you're missing the part where he said bron's legacy took a hit by pulling that miami move. he used kobe as an example that he thugged it out and stayed in LA and won the right way. :umad:

Bron cheapened his legacy by pulling the miami move. those rings and the achievements don't count and should honestly be subtracted . As both Barkley and Webber alluded to.

He can be in the convo but Kobe is statistically inferior in basically every category to Jordan, has less rings AND modeled his whole game after Jordan…What logical argument could one make to have him over MJ?
I think Kobe’s 2006-2007 campaign as well as his 2005 season . Some of the scoring outbursts we have never been seen before in the history of the league . Especially if you factor in pacing .

Kobe’s 81 game if adjusted for pace is over 100 points. Also. Kobe’s 2005 season average goes up to 39 ppg if adjusted for modern pacing.

He’s the GOAT imo. But I’m not opposed to arguments that MJ is the GOAT. It can go either way .

Why does the video have a screen cap talking about Rodman betraying Jordan by calling Kobe the GOAT, when he clearly says Jordan is the Goat and people forget about Kobe.

So basically he saying Kobe over everyone after Jordan.
The context was in regards to LeBron , he responded that Mike is better . His intent was questioning why Kobe isnt being brought up in GOAT conversations . I agree with him .

There has been a concerted effort to try to make Kobe seem ordinary by klutch and LeGBT to make it seem anyone could have won 3, with Shaq . Neither tmac or Shaq had the discipline to take care of their bodies that’s why they started breaking down so early .

But all of a sudden they would have the mental discipline to win 3 together :mjlol:

I mean a outburst or two doesnt mean much especially in a reg season game. Booker scored like 70 once iirc. Besides MJ scored 37 per in the 80s. What would that be adjusted to today?

MJ has more personal accolades, team accolades and much better stats in general. No real argument can be made on numbers so any has to be made on emotion (which is fine, for some reason nikkas hate to admit they operating off of their feelings).

Why would I listen to a HoF player when I can listen to a random cac from BR or thecoli instead :blessed:

Maybe so you could be like the guy in your avi? Lol

Anyways, I think most everyone is fine with Kobe being a part of that particular conversation;
the issue seems to be where.

nikka said outburst or two , this not a “outburst or two” for that era and time and even in the context of nba history it was unheard of. In his prime Kobe was superior offensively than anyone in NBA history . And he could do it against top tier perimeter defenders as well.
