Wasn't damn near any rookie...yet alone the first guard drafted out of high school in NBA history starting over Eddie Jones back then...

I mean...If Bron was drafted to the Celtics his ass wouldn't have started over Paul Pierce at the time. He would had to bust Paul ass in practice and have supreme confidence taking big shots off the bench...to get the starting spot and get Pierce traded.

I never liked Kobe as a player when he was alive and I don't like him as a player now.

I don't know him as a person, outside what he showed during his Colorado situation, but I am not speaking about him as a human being here, just a player.

Kobe chased after hardworkers.. not necessarily the most talented players in the league but experts at what they were good at (Artest - Defense and offense, Gasol - Offense, Odom - Offense and playmaking, etc.) and won with those.

Bron chased the most talented to play with :yeshrug:


Kobe also didn’t run to their teams, he brought them onboard. Recruited the pieces he needed to compete.
