Bryant explained, “That is a tough call, you have James [Harden] who has been playing consistent all through the season. Steph [Curry], who has been doing phenomenal things. That is a tough call for me but I would have to say James [Harden].”

He goes on to say, “[James Harden] had to keep that team afloat. I think the team actually got better, when he went down. Which is hard to do. So I think with the responsibilities he had to deal with this season I’d vote James [Harden].”

Wade, kobe and lebron now. It seems their players seem to believe that harden is the mvp. Their opinions sbould katter more than the nedia since theyre the ones that play and have to guard each other..

I think it stems from the fact that moat teams have played houston see the droppoff that happens when harden goes to the bench. That doesnt happen as much when curry goes to the bench, plus how many 4th quarter have curry sat out this season?

there's a good ass reason for that though.

Are you gonna penalize Curry because he can murk you in 3 quarters?

It definitely sounds like he's trying to shyt on Dwight. I mean he wouldn't even say his name then actually says the team is better without Howard there definitely is some passive aggressive shots thrown. Plus Steph was more consistent than Harden. Harden during the first 10 games was shooting like 38% then for like 20 games after the break was shooting under 40 a game.

Do I believe that if the Warriors had Kyrie Irving instead of Stephen curry that they would still win 60+ games...Yes I do but that doesn't take away anything from curry. He was on the team so he did it.

Does norris cole get 2 rings if Lebron isn't on that miami team....probably not but he was on that team and got those two rings :yeshrug: deal with it.

Steph is the media darling, married and has kids while James Harden is in these clubs trickin at V-Live :takedat:

And plus..Kobe probably just saying it to shyt on howard anyway...you know how the mamba can be:kove:

Its a team game and he drives that team but that team without curry would prolly still be competitive in the west. Its a very well put together squad and their executive definitely earned that award.

This is just blatantly false. Curry lead the league in on-court/off-court drop off. When Steph sat the Warriors gave up 16 per 100 possessions compared to Harden's 13.

:comeon:Nigguh you dont think that curry sitting out entire 4th quarters affects that on court /off court stat? Think!!! Thats a whole quarter against basically their second unit...

Starts at :20 seconds.

Kobe stays giving Harden love. So do countless of other star NBA players including Tony Allen, KD, etc.

So how does this hold up against the "Harden is overrated" narrative on here :sas1:, especially considering most of Harden's critics on here would probably give Kobe head if he had asked.

This is more than trying to shyt on Dwight. Kobe said if he was starting a team the 1st player he'd take is Harden. He could have picked anyone AD, KD, Lebron, Westbrook, Curry BUT he chose Harden. I think that's more than sticking it to Dwight. Kobe obviously respects Harden's game.
