Thanks for the feedback!

I'm 36, is anyone else around here that age?

I'm saying that Grant Hill, Penny, and other players were perceived as being better than Mike who had gotten old 95-97.

The other players even had hotter shoes and commercials.

Cats are calling Kobe old now, saying he's out of style, opting for Penny and Grant Hill as it were.

Old Kobe must now respond to the criticism by winning like Mike the final years of his career.
That never happened :wtf:
Any thoughts of MJ being "old" lasted all of a few months in the summer of 95 and then he came back to break records and win multiple championships and mvps, crushing them nikkas in the process

And if you wanna talk commercialism, Jordans were still the biggest shoes out in an era of classic shoes from star players

This just isnt true for this time period. The only thing they were saying is Jordan was rusty in his immediate return from baseball, but there was no doubt on who the man was. This criticism is valid during his Wizards years. People said Kobe, A.I., Tmac and Vince were chomping at the bit to get at Mike. No way ESPN would rank '96-'98 Jordan #40. I think you have to work on getting your timeline in order.

:dahell: does this even mean

How you gone tell me what the ONLY thing dudes was saying though?

People say stupid shyt now and they said it then too. We were in high school, and YES dudes said Penny was better than Jordan, and Grant Hill was better than Jordan, we as kids said this.

Yawl can't definitively say what was NOT being said by any person at any given time or place, who the fukk are you?

Again, you telling me what the "only" thing people were saying, and you ain't God homie.

I'm saying that the commercials during that period reflected who the young people found interesting, i.e. the little penny commercials, the barbershop Nike commercials, we as YOUNG fans were on some other shyt.

YOU can't come along and tell me what me and my homies in Inglewood were saying or what OUR perceptions were.
