You read posts like "i cant believe im watching kobe waste the last 2 years of his legendary career with these scrubs" "i hope kobe gets traded to a contender to lead a capable team before he retires" and cant help but feel sorry for them.

I remember die hard jordan fans going through the same ish in washington thinking mj could also save an ailing franchise.

I saw flashes of old Kobe last night. I think game legs and time will allow him to get back close to old form. Footwork still unmatched.

I saw flashes of old Kobe last night. I think a pair of new young legs and a new achillies and time will allow him to get back close to old form. Footwork means nothing when old and broken, honestly don't know why I even mentioned this after he shot 6-17.

Lakers are in a similar spot as the Wizards were from 2001-2003

Kobe is going to make the Lakers too good to get a top 5 pick unless the league rigs it for them which is possible

Jordan was a 39-40 year old man with a bad wheel. No one was saying the things for Jordan as they do with Kobe.

I still don't get why some people get their own self worth so wrapped up in one famous person, sports or otherwise. I get liking certain people and all that, but some people just go so overboard it is scary. Your own life isn't dependent on what some other person does with a ball or on a movie screen.
