1. Everything Kobe said is 100% true and most Laker fans feel the same way. If Shaq had been dedicated on the level that Kobe was at the time or even half that we'd be calling him the GOAT. Typically, people get emotional because they fall over themselves to talk shyt about Kobe. Maybe he didn't put it like you ladies would prefer, but it was real talk and he's half way giving Shaq props by saying he could've been an even greater player than he ended up being.
2. Shaq is a registered cop. Like he hems nikkaz up or can be asked to do so, so Kobe talking about Shaq's extra marital exploits to police thinkin they won't leak it like a square nikka obviously would, as bad as it was and as unjustifiable as it was, is not that fukkin serious. Did he tell investigators that Shaq had a drug network from Tijuana to Tahiti? Did he let them that Big Shaq Diesel had bodies out here? All jokes aside, a lot of yall be sounding stupid as fukk when yall on that stampede to roll your necks and talk shyt about Kobe. Even would defend a police officer, but yall talkin bout some stop snitchin, get all the way the fukk outta here.
3. If you actually were a Laker fan in those day, getting through the Western Conference and the Conference Finals in particular was the highest level of competition. Using Shaq's Finals MVPs is a very deceitful way to discredit what Kobe did because the comp in the Finals dropped off as did the big man talent. If there was an award for in conference post season play then Kobe would've had em.
It tended to be Kobe that rose to the occasion when we needed him most. Shaq was in his prime so he was the focal point and best chance for the team to produce consistent offense. However, Kobe was the one that stepped up when the team needed it most all while playing at an elite level not having reached his prime yet. When it was necessary Shaq dominated, when it was necessary Kobe dominated, if they needed a clutch shot Kobe, Horry, Fish, B.Shaw took it, if teams sent Shaq to the free throw line that's when "I make em when I need to." happens. Yall ain't hip, stop talkin bout GOAT franchise.

Revisions, revisions, revisions. Shaq left in 04, not 07. Unless of course, you count three years later as, "as soon as".
You know what I mean...Kobe had labor in anguish for 2 years before he realized the value of another star player, let alone a superstar
