- Philadelphia/76ers: born here in Philly...played high school ball at Lower Merion HS...won ring #2 in 2001...reduced to tears after being booed at 2002 All Star game
- Toronto/Raptors: dropped 81 points during January 2006 game--2nd only to Wilton Norman Chamberlain's100-point game
- Chicago/Bulls: almost traded here in 2004 and 2007...idolized and bit the entire style of the Bulls' best player ever--Michael Jeffrey Jordan

- Charlotte/Bobcats-Hornets: would have gone to UNC or Duke had he gone to college...almost started NBA career here if not for draft day trade with Lakers for Vlade Divac...scored 58 in triple OT during December 2006 game
- Miami/Heat: forced Lakers to trade Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal here in October 2004
- Orlando/Magic: baptized then rookie Dwight David Howard during November 2004 game...won ring #4 in 2009...earned 2009 NBA finals MVP...failed to flinch like a regular human being after Matt Kelly Barnes feigned passing the ball into Kobe's face during March 2010 game (October 2, 2018 update: Kobe is human after all. Twitter discovered that the ball fake that appeared to be inches away was actually several feet away.)

- Minnesota/Timberwolves: played in first NBA game in November 1996...passed Michael Jeffrey Jordan on all-time scoring list during December 2014 game
- Oklahoma City/Thunder: played last playoff game of career during 2012 playoffs, being defeated in the Western Conference semi-finals
- Portland/Trail Blazers: threw late alley-oop to Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal helping Lakers overcome 16-point fourth-quarter deficit in game 7 of 2000 Western Conference finals...scored 65 during March 2007 game
- Seattle/Supersonics: hit NBA-record 12 three-pointers, including 9 straight, during January 2003 game (later tied by Donyell Lamar Marshall and then Wardell Stephen Curry II)
- Utah/Jazz: threw up four airballs during 1997 Western Conference semi-finals...after helping to draw the Jazz's best player ever--Karl Anthony Malone--to LA in 2003 to chase a ring he found the Mailman making a pass at his wife, Vanessa, and then was delivered a standing offer to knuckle up if he had an issue...in his final NBA game, scored 60 and got the W in arguably the greatest farewell performance ever during April 2016
- Golden State/Warriors: hit two free throws after tearing Achilles during April 2013 game
- Los Angeles/Clippers: surely was apart of the "basketball reasons" rationale offered by Stern for vetoing a December 2011 trade that re-routed Christopher Emmanuel Paul from the Lakers to the Clippers
- Los Angeles/Lakers: had HOF career and became franchise's best player ever...won 5 chips...made the #8 and #24 worldwide famous...earned 2008 NBA MVP...played in 18 All-Star Games...won so many awards...played leading role in so many stories surrounding his competitiveness and a$$hole ways... alienated many teammates...inspired generation of ball players...formed one of the most dominant duos ever with Shaquille Rashaun O’Neal...among very small number of players in NBA history to play with same team over three decades (longest tenured Laker)...started and finished career here...won Academy Award in 2018 for best animated short... at the age of 41, died here in Calabasas in January 2020 in tragic helicopter crash along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and 7 others
- Phoenix/Suns: days after sending game 4 of the 2006 first round playoff matchup into OT in dramatic fashion and hitting game winner to put the Lakers up 3-1, Kobe quit in game 7 as the Lakers lost series in epic collapse
- Sacramento/Kings: benefited from rigged 2002 Western Conference finals in which referees obviously conspired to give the Lakers as many advantages as possible
- Dallas/Mavericks: scored 62 points in 3 quarters of December 2005 game
- Houston/Rockets: dunked on Yao Ming and scored 52 during February 2003 game...came within seconds of being physically assaulted by QB-native Metta Sandiford-Artest fka Metta World Peace fka Ron Artest after elbowing his future teammate during 2009 Western Conference semi-finals...did not acquire Pau Gasol Saez and Lamar Joseph Odom in December 2011 after NBA intervened as "owner" of then New Orleans Hornets to infamously veto trade for "basketball reasons"
- Memphis/Grizzlies: became Lakers all-time leading scorer during February 2010 game
- New Orleans/Hornets-Pelicans: NBA infamously vetoed December 2011 trade that would have sent Christopher Emmanuel Paul to the Lakers because of "basketball reasons"--instead of getting Kevin Dallas Martin Jr., Luis Alberto Scola Balvoa, and Goran Dragic, they acquired Eric Ambrose Gordon Jr., Christopher Zane Kaman, and Al-Farouq Ajiede Aminu
- San Antonio/Spurs: helped ignite one of the greatest rivalries of the modern NBA...called ref a "fukking fakkit" during April 2011 game and was subsequently fined $100k...finished career with the same number of rings as the Spurs's best player ever--Timothy Theodore Duncan...inspired arguments across the net on message boards about whether he or Duncan were the best player of the generation (late 90s through early 2000s)
