hearing him on mobb deep's albums, raekwon's album, wu albums, cnn album's, hov's albums, khalid's albums, etc.... on fire ass beats... even illmatic


then all the sudden you get his albums, and the beats is just ehhhhh... nothing really to write home about.. and you KNOW if nas was calling for beats, nikkas are showing him the full vault.. but he picks these

I honestly think most rappers are hit or miss when it comes to beats. I don’t think Nas should be singled out here, but I understand because people hold him to a certain standard.

Streets Disciple-HHID-Untitled-Marley project was some dark times. i kept maybe 10-12 tracks for 8 years of work, hated the producer team for Untitled, and the Marley thing just wasnt my speed

but then Life Is Good came and blew me away, so im back to highly anticipating some new Nas. whenever it may be..
