I remember that 3 year period 1989-1991 when almost every rapper had
they own VHS tape either with music videos/interviews or a mini movie shyt was dope

I had no idea about this one but I had Ice T "Iceburg" one and I think Nice and Smooth

Kane, Hammer, KRS, NWA, and PE had 2 home videos. It was a thing back then. Those tapes were high as a mf back then. Around $20 and they were like an hour.

A little off topic, when I first saw Gang Related, I didn't know that was KMD that Belushi and 2pac killed in the first scene. I discoveed that about 6 months later. I had no idea. He was also in the movie Panther and Strapped in 1993 and I didn't know that was him. He wore those shades so much back then that i didn't recognize him without them.

In this film production, not much is being asked of the rapper or storyline … why didn’t Busy Bee do something similar?
