I didn't actually think Conceited was bad in this battle he actually had some hot lines. His style just isn't enough anymore.

That's exactly what it is. He's no longer filling a lane other battlers aren't so his punchline style is no longer interesting.
Exactly. Before he was the only guy with those kinda punchlines and in that way. Now pretty much everyone does those kinda punchlines and they add so much more. His style was innovative for it's time though

Even in 2012 imo Conceited's style was still acceptable. But idk it was something about 2013 where battlers came out the woodwork(much like other battle leagues) just started rapping like that. Which goes back to MOST not all but most new battlers not having their own personality and style and just rapping like people before them. Qleen might be the last new person who was truly a breath of fresh air.
