Do you agree with this statement?
It's an interesting concept. Taking guys like Kendrick or Lupe who can easily chop and change between making music that can be seen as, 'representing' Hip Hop and music that would seem ignorant or completely commercial.
Take a guy like Trinidad James for example and he would seem as the type of dude that wouldn't be able to imitate something that represents the culture or would he? Has his buzz or Chief Keefs both commercially and at a street level finally blurred the lines between an MC and a rapper?
