Not really, this album dropped during the shiny suit era and after B.I.G./Pac died. This was Krs-1 giving people chicken soup for the soul, this album soothed me tremendously. The MC was played more than Kumbaya that year.

Only record better was universal magnetic, krs's friend and step into the world.
1997 sucked just like 96.
Maybe a tad worse, and krs was the best artist with mos def, that year, too.
