If he said HBK so be it. It is after all his opinion and who would know better than Angle himself who his best opponent was. The Mania and Iron Man match were both fantastic. Angle has an amazing resumé of matches against a who's who of opposition.

Wasn't a definite answer, but it sounds like Aj or Shawn Michaels was the best he's ever worked with.
Some of his best matches was against lesnar & Benoit tho.

I wouldn't say Angle/Michaels is underrated, it's just not mentioned with some of the more meaningful WM matches because there was no title or stipulations, but it is still regarded as one of the best WM matches ever. I actually prefer Angle/Michaels to both Taker/Michaels WM matches
