-- Angle said he sees himself returning to WWE before his career is over.

"I can't say when. My (TNA) contract is up in September and I've left my options open. I'm very happy in TNA. Dixie Carter has treated me very well and always been there for me. But, I can't lie to myself anymore. I can't lie to TNA or WWE. Yeah, there is that desire to go back. I just don't know when. It could be this year. It could be next year. I don't know when."

Angle said he wants to wrestle Daniel Bryan or C.M. Punk, similar to how A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe drew him to TNA in the mid-2000s. Angle also said he would like to main-event WrestleMania with Triple H.

"It's not a bad thing to stay in TNA at all. I just have some unfinished business in WWE. Whether it's this year or three years from now," Angle said.

-- Angle called Brock Lesnar his best wrestling rival. Angle also took the blame for Lesnar's botched Shooting Star Press at WrestleMania 19 since it was Angle's idea.

-- Angle talked a good amount about Chris Benoit, who Angle described as pushing him to the limit more than anyone else in pro wrestling. "It felt like we were in a real competition," Angle said. "It was magic."

Angle said Benoit is missed, especially his competitiveness, intensity, and overall character. Angle said he's drawn from Benoit's in-ring style to incorporate into his offense.

-- Angle said he would face Ultimate Warrior if given the opportunity because he thinks he could get a "five-star match" out of Warrior.:whoa:

Great interview. Kurt coming back to wrestle Punk and Bryan would be dream matches for me. Even though he's 45 and must be hurting after all he's done, he's still a machine in the ring. Cool to hear him put over HBK as the best ever and that HHH is one of the best and he has a great mind for the business too. Not that that would go over well on here today...

Meltz da Gawd says WWE expects King Kurt to come home when his contract is up, but that there's no way he'll ever be able to pass the physical to work a match for them again. That they'll just do a HOF induction and make him a trainer in NXT.

Kurt routinely gets watchable matches out of Ken Anderson tho. Even recently. That man is a pilled up, drunken treasure.
