Felt the need to make this thread because ive been listenin to dogg food, doggystyle, chronic, aeom even more than I usually do lately, and it only became more evident to me that kurupt was such a fukkin BEAST back then, its almost unbelievable. I mean dude absolutely murdered every song/feature he was on from his first appearances on the chronic all the way through the point when he left death row. After that he seemingly fell the fukk off, I mean he went from one of the dopest mcs to ever touch the mic to an unfocused joke 
But the most frustrating thing about this is the fact that he still has it in him to spit a dope verse or write some dope lyrics, but these glimpses of his former glory are just drowned in seemingly endless songs & guest verses where he either spits some "titanic manic psychosomatic etc." bullshyt or just resorts to rhymin "bytch" "nikka" "dikk" "Motherfukker" "Buster" "shyt" and so on over and over again.....
What hes really missing is the guidance from someone like dre back on the row who teaches him to stay focused and work on a song until its perfect. Nowdays it seems like 90% of the time he just freestyles some random shyt while beeing high as fukk and doesn't even know what a second or third take is or that you can actually write a verse in more than 5 minutes.
Im still checkin for every kurupt song because every now & then he drops some fukkin gems where you're just like
but thats one song outta 15-20
I'm anticipatin the next dpg album "Daz N Kurupt, Kurupt N Daz" but I really hope he stays focused this time, I read somewhere that an apparent "insider" already listened to some tracks and thats their best album since dogg food & kurupt is back in his old form n shyt but you know you can't trust shyt like this...
So im just hopin for the best
