Yup, initially he was supposed to drop a album called G-Boy Status that Pete Rock and DJ Premier were going to helm together, that fell through and ended up having a title change and Premier drop out and was supposed to be just Pete Rock beats. No clue what happened there but it ended up being the Streetlights project with only Yessir by Pete Rock, which was originally released as the first single off G-Boy Status.
Dogg Pound were supposed to drop a one off for Cash Money that year too but it fell thru as well. Universal was to be the distributor for both those shelved albums so I imagine thats where things faltered.
