D-Fish is not a defensive specialist or really a good one-on-one defender but he played exceptional team defense. Kyrie don't even do that.

PG defense in this era is almost non-existant. No PG can shut down another PG without the help of the 4 guys on his team. Who the fukk talks about PG defense when Steve Nash used to be a top 3 PG in the NBA for almost 8 years....with no defense.

again maybe offensively he is, but thats the only part of his game thats elite.

Man in man defense is never overrated now and Kyrie is both a bad on-ball defender and a bad help defender.

In a league of super talented PG, you need your PG to be able stop or bother the other elite PGs in the game.

And no, being an elite scorer is not being a flawless offensive player. Durant is an amazing scorer but he can't pass, he has average playmaking abilities, he's not good at protecting the ball, and he's not a great leader. Kyrie is like that.
