LIGHT WORK: L.A. Gear has released another pair of sneakers designed in collaboration with Tyga.
The sneaker company, which was purchased by ACI International in the early Aughts and relaunched in 2014, has released Liquid Silvers, its fifth pair of sneakers with the rapper.
“The Tyga collection has gone extremely well,” said L.A. Gear president Lance Jackson. “L.A. Gear is now in key retailers such as Shiekh Shoes and Footaction. It has generated a lot of excitement and buzz in the sneaker world,” he said.
The silver high-tops feature the brand’s signature light-up sole and retail for $110. They are available at the Footaction located in the Miracle Mile Mall in Las Vegas but will have a wider release next month.
Jackson said the brand recently entered the children’s and active category and is working on a lifestyle shoe and targeting the women’s market.
