LA fitness vs Anytime Fitness

These seem to be the 2 best in my side of town

LA is a little further but only 15 minutes

Anytime is open 24/7 but is a small gym and is around $70 a month

LA is of course bigger but is only $40-$50 a month depending on your down payment. It also closes at 11pm

What’s better


I still have a planet fitness membership but it’s just too crowded majority of the day

Reluctantly LA. They got them in every city too if you're traveling. Anytime when I went felt a step above Planet Fitness. That 24/7 is really the only selling point. Honestly, Planet isn't as bad as they would let you believe. They just have a grip of cardio shyt. But they got everything else you would need too and the layouts have never been that bad.

That's true. I used to go at 3 in the morning because my shift would end around then, mad cab drivers was in that jawn at that time of day.

Funny this thread popped up

Worked at LA Fitness and was a member for decades so it always is a cool place in my heart.

My thing is, I’m all about 24 Hour gyms now after being on bases and living by 24 Hour fitnesses.

I do not like gym rushes.. I do not like traffic and I do not like going to the gym with rushes or traffic.


I just got a week pass for this and a couple more gyms to try it out. I wasn’t a fan of the price though.
