where those bay area dudes at? they always had crazy beats back in the day from the too short/hammer days thru the '90s.

were there no prominent producers and was it just one big free-for-all? this dj mustard kid cant be the goat. lol.

They were only doing producers from LA for the piece. I was thinking the same thing. You cant possibly have DJ Mustard over guys like Ant Banks.

yeah I would have put Hutch on and left DJ Mustard off. Apart from that, list is pretty flawless.

I almost gaffed at them putting Alc above Madlib, but I can't even be mad.

yea that's right. they threw me off course with all those hyphy type beats mustard be doing.

yea, ant banks was the man. spice 1, too short. didn't he do the TOP OF THE WORLD beat?

I just remember so many CLASSIC beats coming from the west and very few beats having faces attached.
