But Wickedsm has admitted multiple times to being more traditional in gender roles; So I don't think this would be a problem for her. Paradise Road seems to be the same way. Nothing wrong with it. It has worked for them. Both are nice so shrugs.

Me personally, I've always grew up with both parents working and both doing the " House activities". My father is actually a better cook than my mother. Shrugs!

Okay I just read that whole exchange. You know Wickedsm is a little older ( :whoa: no offense mama)? So expecting her to have a more modern role isn't really feasible. Again different era, different generation.

Even though we both know she's really 29.

maybe its because im older than alot of yall. i expect men to be able to keep a roof over their childrens heads.
no i am not saying that women dont have to contribute. im not saying a man has to be able to support his wife staying home
or mall shopping daily or getting her hair done biweekly

i am talking being able to basically provide shelter for your children.

i also wouldnt respect a man who wasnt able to house and cloth himself.

take it how you want. im not on here looking for a date so yall can have whatever willy nilly expectations youd like.

if a man told me he was interviewing housekeepers cause his wife didnt work cook or clean i would ask
"well what the fukk do you need that bytch for?"
too.

good enough topic though. could generate some interesting responses.
ask for a delete and repost and i wont post in the new one

What you said!!!

Basically you just described what I would like out of a relationship if I were to ever get married.

I'm not asking to be "kept" I wanna do my part in providing, but I have certain expectations.

A husband should be able to keep a roof over his children head. He is a husband, not some bum dusty dude of the street. When you become a husband and father you willingly take on that responsibility. I agree, why would you take on those roles if you don't want the responsibility? Too many people like to be called a wife, husband, father, mother, and etc but they do not want the responsibility that comes with it. Reminds me of how people in my high school wanted to join sports just to be called an athlete, but didn't want to attend practice, stay late at games, or put in money needed for equipment. Then why is your ass trying to join the team? :comeon:
