I'm thinking about buying my lady her first pair for Christmas but I think i'm a little late on this train and I heard these chicks are getting their Payless heels painted red on the bottom. Do other chicks still look at em like

I'm going to be honest, I'm a cheap fashionista....I'm cool with a few pairs of cute pumps from dsw/bakers 
Red bottoms are out of my price range and plus from what Ive heard from my girlfriends, they arent made for regular wear, the paint comes off quick, and they aint comfortable at all to wear
But what u can do is buy her a few pairs of Jeffrey Campbells. I have a few pair of those on my wishlist
They arent too expensive and the styles are to die for

Thanks for the info though. I knew about the red bottom coming off, my mom got some flats and the bottom of those shyts look terrible. For the money, you would think they would make the focal point of the shoe durable.

They arent tacky to me
plus the dark color blocking is poppin for the fall/winter months.
