Yes. I have to go to women's home to get my hair done so I know. The smell of cheap cigars and liquor. I hate a dirty house too.

Thanks for your empathy. If a woman is well out of shape and not leading a very productive life there is no way she should have her hat in the ring. One of my biggest criticisms of Tariq Nasheed is what I believe is his opinion that men and women should overcome those deficiencies by having a good "mouth piece." It's not acceptable because at the end of the day you have to evidence your work with more than words.

There is a pernicious stereotype of black men just being a bunch of slick talkers and I believe Tariq's advice perpetuates that. I'm not sure if he has ever just told men do take themselves out of the dating market until they have sorted themselves out. It can't be good for them in the long run because men need to produce and a life of inactivity eats at a man.

A good mouth piece will serve you. My interpretation of having a good mouth piece is being a good communicator. Of course words must be met with actions but most things in life are spoken into existence first.

I am unaware of the slick talking stereotype but you are from England that may explain my ignorance to that. Honestly I don't get caught up in stereotypes and breaking them. I simply live my life. Just because black them are thought to prefer women with big butts doesn't mean I will stop liking women with big butts because someone stereotypes me.

I'm not from England I just live here. I'm from South Central la. Raised off of chrenshaw. We won't get into why I am in this godforsaken country. But my point still stands. No man or woman can really be confident and happy if they life ain't right. They should therefore take the time out. It's good for them. Unfortunately the culture of many black men is they have a birth right to ass no matter what.
