I was just thinking about this shtick earlier.

Yeah it's an all-time popular catchphrase. But why would he need to say "children of all ages" after saying "boys and girls"? Boys and girls pretty much covers it all in terms of children.

Or am I wrong?

I've always figured it was tied to the concept of 'inner child', and the idea that someone could be an adult, but for that they had childlike wonder or whatever. Still, the first four cover everything that probably needs to be said, but... I dunno. HashtagCarnyshyt?

I mean do we really want to go down the rabbit hole that was the Ringboy scandal again? What about the commercial where they had a kid under 12 acting like Goldust?
