everyone doesn't have bunch of brothers/cousin/uncles and even if they did they may not be of age to properly defend anyone and it's unrealistic to only live in places they have family in, what if your family was living in the middle of nowhere with 0 career opportunity and you gotta move for work or college?

and what are they gonna do besides react AFTER something already happened to you? OP is talking about ways women can defend themselves in the moment they need to be able to hold it down long enough for help to come
