There's a girl at the school I work at who dealing with this. At first she didn't think it was a serious issue when her BFF would get mad when other people would talk with her. But now, the young lady has "awaken" and sees that her former BFF was actually didn't like her having other friends.
The girl let me read her text message and it was weird to say the least. The hBFF told her that they should take a "break" from their friendship. Which was weird to me b/c I only hear boyfriend/girlfriend say stuff like that. Then her text messages talk about how she missed her, felt like she was going to die without her. Mad suspect. But the girl still told her that she didni't want to be BFF again.
Ladies, have you ever dealt with a BFF who was too possessive of your friendships? If so, how did you deal with it? Did you cut them off or just accepted them as that's just how they were?
