Ladies, how long before it's okay for a man to show you vulnerability?

We're human too, and part of being human is being vulnerable at times. So how long into dealing with a man would it be acceptable for him to tell you about his fears, and maybe even show you tears?

I made this thread because I overheard a conversation two women were having and one of their boyfriends brother got his fingers chopped off on the job and she said something along the lines of "This nikka cried about it, I could see if his brother died, but a man shouldn't be crying over just anything".

I'm not trying to say that all women are this delusional, but a lot of women do put superman standards on what they think manhood is, and I just want to see where the brehettes stand.

Whenever he wants to. I'd prefer it, actually- I can't stand (people) who act like nothing keeps them up at night, it's weird. Or maybe they're as hollow as they can't help but seem.

Also, expressing yourself as vulnerable =/ being a "bytch" or weak or whatever we say to emasculate men.

Only women you can show vuneralbility to is your mom, grandma and aunt.

Respect is a foreign thing nowadays. These hoes definitely don't respect you if you show "weakness". You think a woman will respect you if she sees you get your ass beat in a fight? :mjlol:

Cold world breh :mjcry:

You never show vulnerability.

You'll lose respect fast and never regain it.

:dame:

I don't believe all women think that way, breh. There are women who won't make you feel like you're being a punk for showing that you have feelings. I'm not gonna front like they're the norm though.

I suppose when he trust me enough not use it against him im an argument.
I've been working on this, my dude kinda called me out on it and made me feel like shyt :mjcry:

I'm glad you're working on it. It makes a man feel lower that the dirt under dog shyt when a woman we care for throws things like that in our face.

Me, myself and I
If you believe you are with the right woman, I don't believe there is a time line. I don't want to see you cry on our first date, but once we are in an established relationship, I'd like to believe you trust me enough to confide in me.

Who wouldn't cry about getting their finger chopped off?
