Ladies: Is it possible for your man to give you too many compliments?

Serious question. I can understand a guy who is trying to "holla" at you going overboard, but what about your man? If he tells you that you're beautiful too much does it turn you off? If he tells you he loves you one too many times does it make you lose interest? Is enough too much?

It's usually the desperate, ass-kissing simps that do this. My sister was talking about this the other day. Some kid at school compliments her on every little thing.
