i'm not a lady but an occasional smiley is fine as long as it ain't every text...like jokes timing has to be good

but the problem with texts is you possibly may over think them and whats texted may not be interpreted how you meant them...so don't be having long ass conversations through text...tell her to call you or set a time to chill

Don't use smileys when texting....too weird for a guy, or at least for me. One thing that bothers me with texting is ending the conversation, sometimes you just feel like 'thats enough' not just trying to end it before they do, or whatever, but you think about that too...The whole 'Got to go, talk to you later' is a little dramatic, because really, if I wanted to, I can text all fukking day. I have the time. And you want to end if before you become bothersome, that's my hang up really, I hardly want to text because I feel like the person will be annoyed...but mostly, thats being too self conscious on my part. Texting/Ethics/Etiquette/Experiences could work as a whole thread.
