David Stern being a bytch did more damage than anything.

Stern is a bytch and will hopefully burn in hell, but Odom's downward spiral wasn't on him.

Lamar LOVED being a Laker, so when he was traded he was devastated. If the Veto never happened he'd had still be devastated and gone down that path.

For all the talk of the Kardashian curse Lamar had one of his best seasons and won sixth man of the year while married to that broad.

Damn shame you got black men talking like bytches talking about curses, because Lamar Odom is a fukk up.
The man's friend was a heroin addict who killed himself with that poison, that should let you know the lifestyle Odom was engaged in and who he was around. He was a drug addict, plain and simple and they'll always find way to justify their actions rather than take responsibility

Odom was destined to take that L, his pops is a fiend too, so that shyt was in his DNA. Combine that with some of the personal tragedies he suffered and it's not shocking he ended up being an addict.

Not in his DNA at all, he chose it and ran with it.
Its truly ridiculous how folks enable and excuse famous drug addicts.
I remember that thread on DNA and his son, and folks came in there making excuses from DMX, choosing drugs over a relationship with his son. As if the power to control his personal actions isn't within DMX's or in this case Lamar's hands. They choose drugs daily, and until they want to stop they'll continue to live that destructive lifestyle.

Odom was a product of Kobe's supreme leadership skills more than anything else:smugdraper:

As soon as he lost Kobe as a leader and mentor, that's when his career started to deteriorate:yeshrug:

Kobe had LO, Bynum, and Gasol performing at their max potential, they all left the Lakers and quickly became pedestrian/scrubs. Think about all the winners Kobe has made over the years:

Fisher
LO
Bynum
Gasol
Artest
Fox
Sasha
Radmanovic
Luke Walton

Me personally I would add Shaq to the list too, but I know that's going to draw a lot of hate. And that's all off the top of my head, nikkaz who really would have been garbage/average status otherwise. Especially Gasol, he had Gasol looking like a HOF caliber type player at times.

He was a weed head. He failed the test for ganja 2x...there was never anything about him using coke or crack. After the 2nd tie, he switched to candy.

All I know is, his support system prior to the K's was o longer around once he was with him.
