LOS ANGELES (CNS/FOX 11) - The Los Angeles Police Department ended an eight-hour perimeter search Monday for a suspect linked to a non-injury attack on a patrol car and also lifted a tactical alert that had kept officers working past the end of their shifts, police said.

"The perimeter is cleared,'' said LAPD Officer Nuria Vanega at about 5:55 a.m. "They were unable to locate the suspect.''

The tactical alert was also lifted, at around 5:45 a.m. allowing officers to resume normal duties and for those kept beyond their scheduled shifts to leave, said Officer R. Coates of the LAPD's 77th Street Station.

The shots were fired at 62nd and Hoover streets at 9:23 p.m. Sunday, said Sgt. J. Shray of the LAPD's 77th Street Station.

Replace "We" with "They" in your post and I would agree wholeheartedly. The marches at least put white America's hypocrisy on international blast and generate discussion. These bad acts serve no purpose for black Americans. If I didn't know better I would think we are being set up by our international enemies for a civil war through subtle media influence as well as coordinated actions by certain agents within our communities who are being paid or influenced by intelligence operatives similar to how our own CIA acts in foreign nations. At this point all it would take is a multi-city-wide coordinated assault on police. This could be achieved by a few clandestine operatives meeting with and paying a few gang leaders. If multiple officers are fired on or hurt or some white power groups and gangs were to attack each other I think that could set us off. Unconventional warfare, if you will... People are too easy to rile up and too accepting of for-profit media narratives.

Better than praying, marching, and doing all of that other docile, passive bullshyt that solves nothing. It's just like with any bully, bullies pursue easy targets. Now that people are fed up, cops are going to start having second thoughts on thinking they can kick people around for the hell of it....
