This dude traded the defacto captain for Turner who doesnt even get minutes..while there is a huge hole at PG. Then he rushes out to sign Bynum and he doesn't get minutes either. Both were complete wastes and ruined the potential of the season.

Steve Blake was acquired for MarShon Brooks and Kent Bazemore.
Andre Miller was beefing with Brian Shaw all season.
Ridnour and Sessions were traded for each other.
Even Aaron Brooks was acquired and ended up having some 20+ point games in Denver.

These are current free agents: Current NBA Free Agents - RealGM

Even a few of those scrubs would have been good signings at the minimum.

Goerge Hill is fukking garbage and soft as can be. Hibbert is playing terrible but the real problem is at PG. They could have easily traded Granger and/or Hill for a better PG that wasnt moved..somehow acquired some of the guys who got traded while keeping Granger, or picked up a guy on the free agent scrap heap..then move Hill for someone who would actually play, start Watson on limited minutes then rely on Lance/George/Granger/West/Hibbert or Scola in crunch-time.

Vogel fukked up by sticking with Hibbert and Hill so much (instead of Watson and Scola), but Bird really dropped the ball with this team.

Right...

Blame Larry Bird. Paul George out here playing like he left his skills at home. Roy the boy toy Hibbert forgot how to play center.

Lance Stephenson decided to come out of the closet on the court

Right.. Blame Larry

Obviously everyone deserves blame..but Bird's moves contributed NOTHING positive and actually something tangibly negative.

Blame Vogul a lot more than Bird, even though his moves this year backfired. Vogul does not know how to develop a bench.

Everyone blamed the bench for falling short last year, yet Green and Augustin go to new teams and ball the fukk out. Same thing this year: Scola, Watson and Turner come to Indy and have career worst seasons. He's gotta go.

Its a good point, but they clearly played much worse since the deadline. Vogel gets obvious blame (why the fukk doesnt he play Scola more?)..but Bird shouldnt necessarily completely scapegoat him either

Larry does deserve some blame though

If they didnt trade away Kawhi and Gerald Green they probably wouldve won this series.

The Chi (South Side)
:rip: to this franchise.

turner :camby:
lance :camby:

PG and hibbert are on max deals (PG's kicks in this summer). west and george make $20M combined annually.

no cap space, no flexibility. they were all in on the bynum/turner deals, but it's a wrap. cuz they cannot conceivably improve this summer

that is not the pacers fukking problem.

Their biggest problem is that they do not rebound the ball well at all. If you are going to hang your hat on defense then you have to rebound the ball.
